LES DEUX ALPESLes Deux Alpes is made up of two Alps, two alpine pastures put together over 50 years ago to form a ski resort. Comprising of 2 communities, Mont-de-Lans and Venosc. Les Deux Alpes is one of France's oldest and most prestigious ski resorts. With 225kms of piste, a vertical descent of over 2000m and a highest ski able peak of 3568m. Les Deux Alpes is snow sure as it is one of the largest glaciers in Europe. The resort is mostly treeless ski terrain, and over 75% south facing, meaning blue sky skiing all winter long. With over 200km of terrain to explore as well as 2 board parks and any number of mountain restaurants all your bases are covered; cruisey runs, steep descents...WHAT LEVEL ARE YOU?Beginners - Get your goggles; you've pulled! Les Deux Alpes is great for beginners, who will appreciate benefit the ski school and not-too-challenging terrain -convenient nursery slopes and lifts in the village centre. Even a nubie may find themselves at the top of the mountain by the end of the week as it's possible to ski down even from the glacier to the resort solely on w-i-d-e, pleasant, blue runs... back of the net!

Intermediates - Half of the runs (31) at Les Deux Alpes are classed as intermediate. Those looking to test their standard and step up to advanced can be challenged by one of Europe's most sophisticated snow parks.

Advanced - Advanced skiers will enjoy the un-pisted area of La Grave which is now linked onto the Les Deux Alpes lift pass. This area is a Mecca for extreme and off piste skiers with a height of 2150 metres. The snow park will also test those looking to tweak their tricks or rails.


Click here to view the piste mapSNOWBOARDINGDeux Alpes is literally a paradise for boarders, offering a boarder cross, Snow Park and half pipe. These are all located close together, meaning you can tackle all of these without travelling around the resort. The variety of kickers and rails available in the park welcomes intermediates to step up, whilst bigger jumps keep advanced boarders on their toes!
THE GLACIERThe Mont-de-Lans glacier (at 3650m) is largest ski-able area in all of Europe. The 80 hectares of piste are ideal for both beginners and intermediates, boasting snow in both the summer and winter. Nothing beats reaching the top of a glacier and being able to ski or ride all the way to the village below...this run offers 40 minutes of pure pleasure..
